1. Introduction
CodesLook is a marketplace with both buyers and sellers. These refund rules are created to protect both sides and apply equally to all transactions. Please note that unlike physical goods, digital items cannot be returned. Therefore, refund rules for digital products are different from physical goods.
2. How to Request a Refund
Refunds can only be requested within 30 days of purchase. To request a refund, use the “Request Refund” button next to the order in your account. Before requesting a refund, you must first contact the seller to try to resolve the issue.
A refund request can only be submitted once, so please include all required details when submitting.
3. Valid Reasons for Refund
You are entitled to a refund in the following cases:
- Duplicate Purchase: If you accidentally purchased the same item twice, we will refund the duplicate.
- Item Not Working as Advertised:
- You must first contact the seller to resolve the issue.
- If the issue is caused by a defect in the item itself (not by your server, hosting, or environment), you may request a refund.
- Your request must include detailed information and error descriptions. General statements like “Doesn’t work” are not sufficient.
4. Invalid Reasons for Refund
CodesLook and sellers are not obligated to provide refunds in the following situations:
- You did not provide enough information about the issue.
- You lack the required knowledge to use the item.
- The issue is due to misconfiguration or unsupported environment on your side.
- You can no longer access the item because it has been removed from the marketplace.
- The item did not meet your expectations or you no longer want it.
- The refund request was made more than 30 days after purchase.
5. License Exchanges
If you purchased the wrong license type, you can upgrade within 30 days:
- Buy the correct (higher) license and contact CodesLook support.
- We will refund the first (lower) license after the upgrade is confirmed.
- Note: Downgrading from an Extended License to a Regular License is not possible.
6. Disputing a Refund
If your refund request is rejected by the seller, but you believe you are entitled to a refund under the rules above, you may submit a dispute. In case of a technical defect, you must provide a detailed description of the problem and any error messages.
